課程概述 |
Taiwan, due to its location and unique geological structure, offers a variety of breath-taking scenery. The Dept. of Geosciences offers an elective course-Introduction to Field Geology (II), which gives a general geological introduction to Heng-Chun Peninsula, Southern Taiwan. It will guide you exploring Taiwan through breath-taking sceneries and magnificent geological features that were made due to the particular location of Taiwan. The course is taught in English and specially designed for international students. All international students, including degree students, exchange students and visiting students, are welcomed to take this course. |

Registration and payment will take place on (加簽報到與付款)
2015/3/4 (Wed.) at the R212 of Dept. of Geosciences (地質系212室) and start at 12:20 pm.
This course will charge a total of NT$5000. (課程將收取5000元費用)
***Both the students who already choose the course on the website and the students who want to sign in the additional enrollment have to come to pay NT$5000 on 2015/3/4.
(不論已選到課或要加簽的同學都要來報到和付款。)
Schedule of this course:
*Indoor lesson(20%) & Practical training(10%) 行前上課與實習
Time: 2015/3/21, Saturday, 9:20~15:30
Location: Room 403, rear building of Global Change Research Center (全球變遷中心後棟403室)
Content:
(1) Introduction of background geology of Heng-chun and field survey.
(2) Grouping of filed work, roll call and ……
(3) Practical training at Dept. of Geosciences
*Field survey(40%) 野外考察
Time: 2015/3/27 (Fri.) ~2015/3/30 (Mon.)
Notice: If you are not able to attend this field trip, you will definitely fail this course.
*Final examination(30%) 期末考
Time: 2015/4/8, Wednesday, 18:40~20:40
Location: Room 403, rear building of Global Change Research Center(全球變遷中心後棟)

Notice: Since the limited seats of bus, we have limited number of people for this course. The Students who already choose the course on the website can sign in the course and pay on 3/4 first. For the students who want to sign in the additional enrollment, we take the“first come, first served” basis.
